After several packed and expensive weeks of Blu-ray releases we’ve finally hit a slow patch. This week offers up several critically acclaimed films, another season of one of the funniest shows of all time, a recently deceased crackhead classic, and a film that David Cross described as “the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had in my professional life.”

Catalog Releases
The Bodyguard- Believe it not this was already on the release schedule before Whitney Houston’s death; only time will tell if there will another Blu-ray coming out down the line with more special features to cash in on her death. Extras for this release include the previously released Memories of The Bodyguard featurette, the I Will Always Love You music video, and the film’s original theatrical trailer.
